Their are ancient trails however left by our First Peoples. All those images in your picture will not last 1,000 years, autos, pavement, apartment, fence, but the road will still be there and someone will dig up more relics. A thoughtful post, NanU, thank you.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03241402645242821612noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4434099172039136838.post-16368297990975486582009-09-14T14:50:45.740+02:002009-09-14T14:50:45.740+02:00Well they've done a beautiful job of asphaltin...Well they've done a beautiful job of asphalting anyway!Barryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13824632356834631279noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4434099172039136838.post-58417247030231131842009-09-12T23:38:57.808+02:002009-09-12T23:38:57.808+02:00Such a bummer to have your expectations dashed. Italians are very serious about their history, course they have trouble with the modern world.... can't have it all.GingerVhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16501023251788210094noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4434099172039136838.post-14043448991879931242009-09-11T12:33:59.159+02:002009-09-11T12:33:59.159+02:00hello nanu, my grandma would give me coins that sh...hello nanu, my grandma would give me coins that she would find while digging her garden. napoleon, a couple of roman coins, even once a turkish coin - all very very old of course, but she saw nothing extraordinary about it. this was in the middle of england. you're so right about not being able to dig anywhere in europe without digging up history. i love the racing truck!!! stevenstevenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14132104804524716898noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4434099172039136838.post-814170259786595152009-09-11T11:24:13.094+02:002009-09-11T11:24:13.094+02:00it is amazing at what they can do. and also amazin...it is amazing at what they can do. and also amazing at how fast places are built and re-built. the landscape is always changing.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13347204411744571682noreply@blogger.com
