Friday Shoot Out: Faces and Smiles

If my brain is on properly, today's Shootout theme is Faces and Smiles. Here's a fishy face for'ya.

Boudica with her favorite toy at Dog Beach! Now there's a smile.

And since I spent Wednesday at the San Diego Zoo with my long-time friend and fellow backpacking & cookie-selling Girl Scout Anne P, here are some furry faces.

Oop, that's not a face.

You have a greyhound named Boudica? How cool. And I love the San Diego Zoo. Your photos are a trip down memory lane for me - except for the last one. I don't remember seeing that at the zoo!

Very quirky take on the assignment. I agree that your dog look like he's smiling.

Haha! Love it. Love that you used so many different faces. By far, the most interesting post I saw.

Yes! Yes! Qui!

Perfect. I just loved this.

And that hippo's smile was something to behold. Oh, wait a minute, you said that wasn't a smile!

Love your take on smiling faces. The last one is a hoot. I especially like your banner.

A Rhino butt - that made me smile - I spent an entire year shooting animal butts at varios zoos because I was at the zoos so much with my young kids, and I got bored of the same animal faces!

It's like looking at Val's blog (Monkeys on the Roof) ... except for the pandas. Very cool.

Love the banner. Birds are so ... other.
