Friday Photo Shoot Out: Feet & Shoes

I'm a little off today. The Shootout always makes me think of Barry (who introduced me to it). I was going to skip, being overburdened with various things at the moment, but this morning I saw the camera sitting there, and the rain coming down outside, and I'm off to buy furniture tomorrow so it's today or not at all. And, yeah, this is a theme you can do without leaving the house. That's my level of energy today!

Sleepy feet

Stretchy feetHungry feet.

My feet

And some of the shoes.

Thank you hon for doing a shootout...I loved every single little kit tootsie. It made me smile...which I needed. I posted mine before we knew...and have a heavy heart too!! Hugs, Sarah

I think Barry will be in the minds of many of us as we post this week. Surely he would have posted Lindsey's flying feet! For that reason I chose a dog's paw.
Love your little people's feet!

Thank you for thinking of next week's topic. Bittersweet and perfect.

Your pictures of the kitties' feet reminded me of Carl Sandburg's poem "Fog" where "the fog comes in on little cats' feet"

Bagman likes the tan lines on your feet. But even Bagman is sad. This is the first shootout I've seen in awhile and I keep expecting that the next one will be Barry's.

I was going to post a bunch of pics of my dog's feet but I decided to play dress up and photograph my own feet. My living room looks a lot like yours with the pairs of shoes except I think yours is much more organized than mine.

I miss Barry too.

I was sad doing today's shootout too. Barry and Linda made such a great team I am just sick at heart.

love all the little kitty tootsies. I think we all are a little saddened. If you have any suggestions for spotlight favs, feel free to send them to me. we have many posted this week.

I'm a day or two late...weekend camping...so catching up and stopping by to say what a great ShootOut you posted. Some very special feet and paws.

remember that we have to keep a well defined line between the supreme being and the image created by man for man's use. we really don't know that 'mother nature' and 'Christ' aren't one and the same, AND that men (not man) seperated the two to enhance the power of men over women. tangents are good things especially early in the morning.

You have a shoe parking lot just like we do!

Ginger -
Perhaps the awareness that I, at least, don't know where a supreme being begins and leaves off or even if one exists, is the source of my frustration with those who propose to know what God wants/likes/has planned for us.
That citation of a diety has been used by men to control women, I agree is certainly true!

I really like your take on this theme - especially since cats' feet are much in evidence.
